Celebrate the Spring Equinox with Jane & Sophie

It's that time again..

The mornings are getting lighter and Spring is not too far away now which is why I want to invite you to join Jane and I for another of our collaborations.  We’d love you to come and take part in what has now become an annual event: our uplifting and soul-nourishing yoga and meditation experience. 


From the beginning of March, the seasonal shift is upon us.  The beginning of a mega detoxification process on all levels!  We need our routes of elimination fully open and our liver detox pathways clear.  

Our lymphatic system encompasses all of our glands from our throat to our groin and unlike our circulatory system, doesn't have a pump so we need to physically move to keep it healthy.  From jigging your glands in your neck (draw a line with your forefingers from the base of your ear downwards until you feel lumps and gently move your forefingers rapidly up and down to stimulate them to clear toxins) to all physical exercise especially rebounding which is similar to trampolining.  
Also, hot and cold therapies are fantastic for benefiting our lymph which is a crucial part of our immune system.  Anything from hot and cold showering to sea-swimming, saunas and plunge pools.

To harness these rising energies, clean healthy eating is a must.  Your body will show you.  If we ignore the call to change then the equinox will trigger acute cleansing episodes such as colds, flu and ear infections.  We don't have to be perfect but we do need to listen within for balance in our choices.


So why not lift yourself out of the quiet reflection of Winter and embrace the fresh energy of Spring with our afternoon of yoga and guided meditation practice. As the Earth finds perfect balance between light and dark, we invite you to honour the Spring Equinox as a sacred time of transition marked by a season of renewal, growth, and awakening,

Through gentle movement and deep stillness, we will release the heaviness of Winter and welcome the light, vitality, and possibilities of Spring.

Sophie is a holistic health practitioner combining her philosophies of Naturopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Life Coaching to help others. She is passionate about embracing nature’s rhythms and connecting to oneself through meditation and other spiritual practices.
